archived 16:9 movies
It's said that most accidents occur within 20 miles of the home. Well, that's nearly true of these 16:9 movies, excepting the one of Jeff running out of gas. That was more than 20 miles from my house but only about 15 miles from his. Poor guy... lookit him, wincing there with the world's worse gas can wrenched into his Monster 800's tank.

These were shot in 16:9 on my digital camera. I'm working on some other longer videos in this format showing various forms of transit - bicycle, car, moto. So stay tuned.

Another project I'm thinking of working on is a cooking show replete with clips of video detailing certain preparation techniques. The Occasional has started to trend toward food topics, so I may clamp the digi to the pot rack above my stove and shoot some 16:9 of things like boiling shrimp.

Hurricane Rita a day at the office springtime
Timelapse QuickTime movies taken with my iSight. Some of them were shot every 30 seconds, some every 60 seconds. I sped them up and added music to eliminate the boredom... the monotony. But, um, it's kinda boring.
the entire month of december miracle fish grows 6x its size in h2o!
These were amassed using the software Evocam. I added the music and effects w/Apple's iMovie, which is also pretty great, for people like me who don't do much with video.
